Deal Product List, Billing Frequency Approach / Strategy

I am looking for some suggestions how I can manage my products and link them to deals.
Most of my products are monthly recurring, so I set a monthly recurring price for each product and the default billing frequency is set to monthly.

My issue is if the customer choose to pay annually, My sales team can update the billing frequency within the deal line items, however the price does not reflect the changes.

The sales advisor could however update the price within the line items, however I don't want them changing that figure, as I have automations that rely on base price and don't want them messing with base price.

I am multi currency, and already stretching product to include multiple price units such as set up cost, decommission cost and the monthly cost.

My Options appear

Options 1: Create a new variation, labelled annual with a set price.

Option 2: Create two products for each monthly/annual.

Option 3. Your suggestion.

    Hello!

My name is Hélio, and I’m part of the Pipedrive support team.

The options you mentioned are great! However, if you have different variations of a product, I would recommend creating a single product with multiple variations, including both monthly and annual options. This approach should work really well and help keep your product list clean and organized.

Here’s an example of how I would set it up:

    I hope this helps :)

Yeah, once it all loaded up variants works fine, My concern with using variants is that it is not well supported, in terms of API or bulk export / import and I would like to automate the annual price when the monthly price gets updated.

Do you know if there is any plans for more variants support?
