Can I add 'Lost outcome' to 'Lost reasons'

Hi everyone,

We're trying to understand why and where we lose enquiries/opportunities to. We have a comprehensive list of lost reasons (eg. price, DM not involved etc.) but would also like to measure what these opportunities do after we lose them. eg. 'lost reason' = 'price', 'Lost outcome' = 'went with a competitor'. 'Lost reason' = 'No timelines', 'Lost outcome' = 'Sticking with current setup'.

Is there a way to add to the 'Lost reasons' form when it pops up after you click lost?

I know we can set up a custom field on a deal for people to fill in but these seems a bit clumsy/ adds a few more clicks to the process.

    My name is Hélio and I am part of the support team at Pipedrive.

    To set up predefined lost reasons, go to Settings > Company Settings > Lost Reasons. On this page, you can add lost reasons to your list. If you disable the "Allow free-form reasons" option, users marking a deal as lost will only be able to select a reason from your predefined list.

    You also mentioned "Lost Outcome." Is this different from "Lost Reason"? If so, you would need to use a custom field. I recommend using either a single-option or multiple-option custom field for better reporting. Additionally, I suggest making this field mandatory when a deal is marked as lost.
