Hey,
How do y'all approach this right now?
I've talked to many of you about this here and elsewhere, so I figured it'd be good to have a main thread on it?
Here's our take on the problem:
- One main data pipeline managing everything (no Zapiers)
- Ability to specify various cookies to attribute Pipedrive events/deal closings with, not just last-touch (so no custom fields carrying one cookie)
- No SaaS anywhere in the pipeline - A bit more tech-savvy setup using a private data collector, activation server, and a GTM Server tag (all created by us)
I just shot a YT video about it (heads-up, it's long—40 min):
Any by the way, if this interests you, ping me—we can set up the entire thing for you (and it's very cost-effective if you have us as your Pipedrive implementation partners on your account).Other than that, happy to hear thoughts and alternative ways!
Mac
