Hej there,

I am working in a digital agency. We provide services like a relaunch of a website. This susually splits into several sub-services like generating customer insights, create a navigation and design the UI (wireframes), create a screendesign according to the corporate design of the client, setup, configure and and deploy the CMS, training for editors, support with content migration.

We have several teams (consulting, creative services, development) that are involved in these projects. The combination of sub-services is pretty much the same from project to project even if the amount of consulting, design and development might differ.

I am looking for a possibility to create something like a project template that cover these recurring combinations.

Is anybody out there, who has a similar problem solved yet? Any kind of advice will be apriciated :-).

Best Regards, Sven

Got it. Now I see that you are looking for a way to organize these products under one deal without creating separate deals for each sub-product.

Pipedrive has a feature for adding products to deals. You could use Pipedrive’s Product Feature with Custom Product Hierarchy: You could create a “main product” for the website relaunch and then break it down into “sub-products” (the various services involved like design, CMS setup, training, etc.). An automation could add each “sub-product” to the deal the main product is added.

@Manuel Oliveira , thanks for tagging me.

@Sven Jänchen what Pipedrive Project Templates is missing? https://support.pipedrive.com/en/article/projects-templates

In any case, we can built an automation that whenever you win a deal, a project or multiple projects are created from a template. The template is picked up from a custom field in your deal.

Would love to learn more about how you have this set up in Pipeprive. Book a time with us if you'd like to explore over a Zoom call https://connex.digital/book/pipedrive

Sorry, @andres. My question was a little misleading obviously. Actually, I am looking for something similar for products in deals. Some sort of hierarchy of products where I can create a "main product" aka website relaunch that combines a set of "sub products" by default. In this sense the main product is somewhat like a "parts list" while the sub pruducts are the individual "parts".

In the end I want to create a deal and add my main product instead of creating several deals (one for each sub product).

Hope, this makes the idea more understandable...

Yes, we use either Jira if we work on a customers environment or we use Redmine. But again, my question is more sales related than from a pm prospective, @andres .

Oh, I see. Sorry for the confusion.

So, is your question about how to structure deals in Pipedrive with a “main product” (e.g., website relaunch) that encompasses multiple “sub-products” (e.g., design, CMS setup, etc.)?

Ok. Great Idea. Do you have more about the Pipedrive’s Product Feature with Custom Product Hierarchy? Is there an article in the knowledge base?
