Company level custom fields

It would be great to be able to create company wide custom fields -i.e., for telephone numbers, links used often, addresses, etc.
Please note that I'm not referring to organizations. But to the company/business that owns the Pipedrive account.
Currently, I have to create a custom field for the deal, or contact, to hold some of those values (a payment link for instance). It's not efficient because I'm saving the same data everywhere, and if the value changes, I have to update it in all the deals that are using it.

Hello @ma_wove,
I hope you are doing well!
Thank you for your feedback!
In Pipedrive, the way information is displayed can help eliminate the need for duplicate fields across multiple items. For example, if you add a custom field, such as "Website," to an organization and then link a contact to that organization, the website information will be visible not only in the organization but also in the linked contact. Additionally, it will appear under any deal associated with that organization.
Here’s an example to illustrate this: Pipedrive Example.
Let me know if you have any doubts :)

HI @Helio,
Thank you so much for the explanation and for the detailed video that you created. I appreciate it a lot.
I think I was not clear enough with my suggestion for PipeDrive. Please allow me to explain, hopefully, this will make more sense.
What I'm referring to is the option to create Custom Fields for the company/business that owns the PipeDrive account, not for the companies we have businesses with –which is what you kindly described in your video.I know that PipeDrive allow us to create custom fields for:
- Deals/leads
- Profiles
- Organizations
- Products
- Projects
I'm suggesting to add one more group to the list, which for the sake of the discussion I'll call Account Fields.
In this example, I'll show how we can use them:
We send different payment links to customers based on a number of different factors.
it would be great if we could create different fields for each link (e.g., Payment Link 1, Payment Link 2, etc..).
With that we could create custom automations. If at any point the link needs to be updated, we only need to update the custom field once.
As you can see, these properties do not belong to the deal, profile, or organization. They are properties that belong to My Own Company (the business that owns the pipedrive account), so it'd make more sense for them to live on a separate account-wide object. In our particular case, we had to add the payment link as a property of the deal, because of an integration with a third party service that reads properties from the deals. If we could pass company settings along we wouldn't have had to define the property on the deal.
Thank you so much!0
