Scheduler - Allow the Phone field question to be customized or disabled



Overview:
Currently, Pipedrive’s appointment scheduler includes a default phone number field in the scheduling form.
This field is intended for users to input their phone number, but many customers fill it in without including the country code, which causes issues with the accuracy of the data.
We often receive phone numbers that we do not know the country code for. We can add another field to ask for the country, but this makes the form cluttered.
Problem:
The default phone field is not customizable, either in terms of its label/placeholder or its presence. For businesses that do not require a phone number or wish to use a different field, this lack of customization can be restrictive.
Proposed Solution:
Allow users to:
- Modify the Label/Placeholder of the Default Phone Field: Enable businesses to change the label or placeholder text of the phone number field, providing more clarity to users on how to properly format their number (e.g., including a country code).
- Disable the Default Phone Field: Give users the ability to completely disable or hide the phone number field if it is not relevant to their business needs.
Benefit:
By providing businesses with more control over the scheduler form, Pipedrive would enhance the flexibility of the platform, ensuring that users can tailor the scheduling process to better suit their workflows and avoid potential data issues caused by the default phone field.
