Assistance Needed with JotForm to Pipedrive Phone Number Integration - Australia number

Hi, I've set up an integration from JotForm to Pipedrive, and I'm encountering an issue with how Australian 10-digit mobile numbers are being handled.
Initially, the phone number field in Pipedrive was set to "Phone" format, but this wasn't pulling any data from JotForm—the field was left blank in pipedrive, although clearly it is populated in JotForm. When I changed the field type to "Text," the number started populating. However, it's now treated as plain text and is no longer clickable for calling, which is essential for our workflow.
Please advise how to properly pass an Australian 10-digit mobile number from JotForm to Pipedrive so that the number populates correctly in Pipedrive and recognized as a clickable "Phone" field to enable the call feature.
Thanks!

Hi @Shiela A. it should be clickable - can you please share a screenshot of your mapping as well as a screenshot of how it looks like in pipedrive after import? The phone field doesn't care much for formats and makes any string clickable for calling.

Hi @Shiela A. make a new field and make it of type phone, not text. Text will never be "clickable" for calling.

Hi @Nikolai Sokolov that is what I've mentioned in my initial post, when field was type phone, the data are not pulling from JotForm, as such field was updated to text so it gets populated from Jotform to Pipedrive integration.

For our case, we don't need an area code, we use Australia 10digit mobile number. Is there a way for Pipedrive not to expect area code enclosed in parenthesis? where phone numbers be just formatted as numbers? or does Pipedrive always expect phone numbers as US format (e.i (555) 555-1234) ? None of our setting convert phone numbers to US phone number format - but looks like Pipedrive still expecting with area code format.

most reliable way is to use make.com for this integration. The phone type field doesnt expect any specific format. Just seems like the native integration is funky. We have no trouble saving phone numbers from text fields in jotform with phone fields in pipedrive in make.com

Hey @Shiela A. this is a JotForm thing - they need to address it since the integration with pipedrive is handled by them as well. Make.com is also very cheap and has so many use cases. Exploring it is definitely worth the price.

Hi Nikolai,
Raised this issue with JotForm - answers/26524101-issue-with-jotform-pipedrive-integration-australian-mobile-numbers-not-populating-correctly-in-phone-field
JotForm support has cloned our form multiple times without any issues—each time, the phone field correctly registered as a "Phone" format. I’ve run several tests based on JotForm's suggestions, but the "Phone" format field still doesn't accept 10-digit Australian numbers. As a final test, I cloned the form using two different accounts, but the issue persisted—the phone number still wasn't captured in "Phone" format, only "Text" format.
JotForm has indicated that this may now be an issue on Pipedrive's end. Could you please check if there’s anything within our Pipedrive account that might be causing this problem?
