Sales commissions in Pipedrive – anyone else managing this in Excel?

Hi all,

We’ve noticed that calculating and tracking sales commissions is still a huge headache in most companies using Pipedrive.

Many teams (ours included) end up using:

  • Custom fields (“commission paid?”)
  • Spreadsheets
  • Manual filters
  • …and lots of back-and-forth between sales and finance.

So we’re thinking of building a lightweight “Commission Management” app for Pipedrive — native, simple, and focused on what actually matters.

What it would include:

  • ✅ Commission rules by user, product, amount or deal stage
  • ✅ Auto-calculation when a deal is marked “won”
  • ✅ Shared dashboard with commissions by month, user, pipeline
  • ✅ “Paid” toggle + exportable summary
  • ✅ Optional split between multiple reps

We want something clean, not bloated — for SMBs that don’t want to pay €500/mo for complex comp tools.
