Sales commissions in Pipedrive – anyone else managing this in Excel?




Hi all,
We’ve noticed that calculating and tracking sales commissions is still a huge headache in most companies using Pipedrive.
Many teams (ours included) end up using:
- Custom fields (“commission paid?”)
- Spreadsheets
- Manual filters
- …and lots of back-and-forth between sales and finance.
So we’re thinking of building a lightweight “Commission Management” app for Pipedrive — native, simple, and focused on what actually matters.
What it would include:
- ✅ Commission rules by user, product, amount or deal stage
- ✅ Auto-calculation when a deal is marked “won”
- ✅ Shared dashboard with commissions by month, user, pipeline
- ✅ “Paid” toggle + exportable summary
- ✅ Optional split between multiple reps
We want something clean, not bloated — for SMBs that don’t want to pay €500/mo for complex comp tools.

I have seen this request often and have implemented this for a client using an ETL tool like Coupler (10% discount available) or Coefficient or Conduit.
