Community is closing, let's create a subreddit all TOGETHER ?

Pipedrive has just announced the closure of the community.
Who's in to create an independent subreddit with the active members here?
An alternative for the community, by the community.
No commercial ambitions, just mutual help.
I've created the placeholder r/PipedriveCRM and I'm ready to invite active members to do this together.
I have no personal ambition, but I want to continue exchanging freely about this tool.
If there's already an ongoing community alternative, please disregard this post.
However, the community shouldn't rely on just one person.
What do you think? @Josh Monifi - @Amit Sarda (AmitSarda.xyz) - @AG-CCS - @Paul Minors @johndbritton - @axwil20 - @Nikolai Sokolov - @NigelM - @Rich Preston - @Guy Renko
Just so you know, I'm an admin of the Pipedrive France group, I founded the largest Pipedrive partner in Europe (which I've since sold, so no commercial interests here), and I make free Pipedrive videos in French.

There already was a sub reddit called r/pipedrive, but it was not active anymore.
So I created r/PipedriveCommunity and shared with others.
You responded, and created another one r/Pipedrive.
Why?

@Amit Sarda (AmitSarda.xyz) Because you made an isolated initiative, without explaining your intentions behind it.
A subreddit can either be an ad haven or a healthy place for discussion. But you're not explaining any of that.
If you had specified your ambitions, I wouldn't have recreated a thread.
Mine are clearly laid out here. But there's no point in maintaining both.
So, if your ambitions are healthy, I have no problem rallying behind you.But "PipedriveCRM" is more elegant otherwise (joke)

To avoid creating the same subreddit that already exists (r/pipedrive) :
I'll invite all active members here as moderators (those on the leaderboard, for example).I don't want it to be MY community, but OUR community.

Why would you call it an isolated initiative without knowing anything about it?

your action felt like this:

@Amit Sarda (AmitSarda.xyz) As I was telling you:
You haven't specified your ambitions for this new sub.
So if it's just to replicate the one that already exists, what's the point, right? As I told you, let's combine our initiatives; I don't have any personal ambitions.
If you confirm there won't be any ads or personal solicitations on this thread and you agree to invite the active members here as mods, then that works for me.But if it's to create an autocratic space, then I propose an alternative.
But write it down precisely (on your rules sub, for example). For now:
- You haven't specified your ambitions.
- There are no rules on your thread.
On my end, I've precisely described my selfless ambitions, I've put clear rules on Reddit, AND I've invited you as a moderator with full rights.
Let's stop the power games and useless discussions and do this TOGETHER

And when I look at your Reddit history and see that you're constantly trying to push your affiliate links on Reddit, it strengthens my conviction to offer an alternative. If it's about soliciting people who participate in your thread, that's not in line with my values.
Therefore, I'm withdrawing my admin invitation.
Honestly, I would have preferred Pipedrive to offer a healthy alternative without power plays.

@Manuel Oliveira, can you save us and create an official Reddit thread?
I'm willing to give you the handle I created.

speaking of "selfless ambitions", "stop the power games", "useless discussions":
In the two other communities I set up long ago, I openly invite others to do what I do in a fair manner.
In case you didn't know, affiliate links are not illegal. There is a responsible way of doing it and I encourage other members to behave in the same way. If you want to believe you are selfless, you're welcome to do so. But please don't question my intentions. I have given a lot to this community for free over the years.
But I see no point in arguing; you said you don't want to play power games and you exercised your 'power' within 5 minutes.

@Amit Sarda (AmitSarda.xyz) Clearly, we don't share the same values.
Affiliate links aren't forbidden, but they don't align with my values in a Reddit support group. And if you want to compare your account to mine, I had to create a new one when I sold my commercial company. @BaptisteBLC 👋
But I also stopped coming here because the French-speaking group slowly died out (the same observation Pipedrive seems to have made recently, I suppose). Thanks for your contribution, even though in many cases you quickly tried to direct people to private messages, probably to offer them your services.
This will be my last message, as I no longer wish to waste my time with you.
I hope we can quickly find a healthy discussion space free of ads (even disguised ones).

The irony..!
But sure!
My best wishes to you.

@Amit Sarda (AmitSarda.xyz) You've already put links to your services and apps on the homepage of the sub you created. That's exactly what I meant.

I thought you were not going to waste your time with me?
Where and when did I say I won't?
I never said this is going to be the ONE place for all the users to migrate to.
Please stop wasting your time on me.

I'd like to continue to be part of a community but I agree, this doesn't appear to be going well so far.

r/MinorsPipedrive ?
I have no problem telling everyone how helpful your videos are in everyone of my posts. 😀

@Guy Renko haha thanks! But I'd rather not be a community moderator. I'll stick to YouTube 😀

Guys, this got a bit weird. Lets move on. I'm not sure how much potential there is in reddit for this tbh. What I'd like to know is why the community is discontinued. HubSpot has loads of this. Reddit is quite like lets make a channel on IG/TikTok - those are very different beasts without proper curation.
Fwiw, i dont scan reddit for expert insight.

@Nikolai Sokolov I would also like to know why the community is closing. This makes no sense…

I have no problem with a Reddit sub. In general, I prefer something that a company would not be able to censor.
Anyone wondering what's happening with the community notice that support now takes a good hour to respond when it used to be a few minutes?
There will be some cost cutting and price increase coming down the pipeline soon.
