Calendar 2-way sync lag time?

I have two-way sync setup on my calendar (PD to Outlook/Office365). I have noticed a significant lag time for syncing, especially from Outlook to PD. If I adjust/move/change a time or duration on an event in my calendar it sometimes does not update in Pipedrive at all or takes hours if not days.

Is there an expected lag time to this sync, if so what is it? Is there a reason some of the changes I make never sync?
