    Chiming in from the West Coast—bonjour à tous! 

    There are a few things that make selling in Canada unique. First and foremost, selling in Canada, particularly in Western Canada, is more challenging because prospects are far more conservative than you might think. British Columbia has a reputation as an easy-going province, but when it comes to business we are far less interested in being the first to try something. If you know that, then you can adjust your pitch to position your good and services in a way that makes the prospect feel they are buying into success. That's been my experience.
