Is there a way to pull product information within Insights or some other form?

Has anyone found a way to filter projects with products on the deals? Ideally, this would be available within Insights, but it's not an option. We would like to pull product numbers for stock projections and the type of products being quoted.

Matthew, this has been a HUGE hurdle for us - we have let Pipedrive know multiple times. They say a solution is in the works.

In the meantime, our workaround for this is to create a custom tag called Master Product. We then sorted by product and updated the Master Product field to match the product we wanted. You can sort by custom fields in Insights.

The issue we have run into is when a sale comprises more than 1 product. There is no way to account for this with the custom field. Because of this, our insights dashboard alone is not fully accurate, but it's the best we can do for now.

Sorting by product in insights, and setting of goals by products is something that needs to happen soon. Without this ability, the product category is pretty useless.

@Matthew Negron and @Scott Ochander great news. Our team today finished most of their work around bringing products to insights. It's already live for some users and we're rolling it out to all users over the coming days.  Sorry about the inconvenience leading up to this update!

    What can a user do?

    • Filter Deal Performance reports by Products
    • View and Segment results by Products
    • Measure results by Product value and Number of products

    Available for all plans.

@Mike van der Valk thank you for sharing this information. This is definitely a step in the right direction. A few other additions that would be great are the following:

    • Add multiple products to the filter
    • The ability to filter by Product Code. For instance, we have a few products with the same name, but they have different codes, which is even more important information for us.
    • Pull a report of all products quoted that shows the quantity quoted  (this can be partially done, but doesn't look clean)
