Birthday Filter

I am trying to create a filter for contacts that I can run each month to show everyone who has upcoming birthdays.

The issue I am running into is that the majority of the birthdays I have include the year. So if I put a filter for birthdays this month - it only pulls the contacts who have the year as 2020 on their birthday.

Any workaround? If I could do a short date 9/25 it would fix the issue but since it forces me to have a year on it I'm running into a wall.

The initial thought was to put everyone's birthyear as 2020 but then I'd run into the same problem next year...

Reaching out to see if anyone has any other ideas for a workaround?

In the action step of Zapier, select the right field (Add time), the right separator (-) and the right value (Second):

Is making a zap the only way to accomplish this? As a workaround, I exported my db, changed everyone to a 2020 birth year then reuploaded/merged.

Found a better way and I built a birthday flow using Make/Integromat.

It requires two date fields: Date of Birth and Next Birthday.

It requires 2 filters: 1 to update Next Birthday; 1 to see upcoming birthdays.

If you have any other questions about this flow, please don't hesitate to reach out.
