In my line of work, I continue communication with the client after the closing date. Is there a way to automate tasks once the file has been won or after the close date ?
Yes, this is easily doable via Pipedrive Automation Workflows.
Trigger: Deal is Updated.
Condition: Deal Status has changed, Deal Status is Won.
Action: Create Activities.

If the purpose of the communication is to follow the project then make a filter of won projects and from there an do what you have te do. Like it's a project management tool.
If the purpose of the communcation is to retarget te client for new sales I suggest then to create a new deal and from there an do what you have te do.

With the automation tool you can also schedule an email to go out at a specific time after the deal has been won. We also use the stages to automate specific emails throughout the project.
