Google Calendar Sync
Hi guys, what about an activity get automatically associated with a contact when that has is an event in google calendar or else.
At the moment, it just syncs the event, but it's not associated to contacts, deals, or companies.
It's something I think, we're supposed to expect from Pipedrive without really having to ask for it. It's been a very long time that the sync is not working properly, it just go half-way. Please fix that guys.
Here is an exemple of how it appear in Pipedrive. No Contact Person or Organization syncs even tho the email of those folks is in the event.

I reached out to the team and understood that we made one update to this last year.
There’s a distinction between guest and contact in an activity. If the guest’s email and the contact’s email are the same, then we show the synced activity on the contact’s detail view too if they are not part of the guests list.
At the moment we don’t have the guests as a list view column yet. It’s something we consider adding in the future.0 -

"the guests as a list view column" : I think that's not the point.
The thing is, it would make sense that, if there is a match between a guest's email in a calendar event and a contact email in pipedrive, this event is automatically map to the contact in pipedrive. Simple as that1 -

Hi @Mike van der Valk_2, @Janis Rozenblats or anyone at Pipedrive,
I still have trouble using Pipedrive as my primary CRM because of this lack of clarity.
When I look at a contact's page and can't see what meeting I had with them, it's downright annoying.
As a Pipedrive partner, I always look like an idiot when I tell my users that the contact is out of the sync. The blankness in their eyes is something I can't look at anymore. It haunts me.
This is a core and coveted feature by Pipedrive users.
