Deleting open activities when a Deal is marked Won or Lost
I was looking to create a workflow automation that will delete any open activities when a deal is marked won or lost. Apparently the system isn't capable of this, at this time.
Does anyone have any work around ideas to help us keep our to-do Activities accurately reflecting the work that needs to be done?

Hi Sandra,
There is currently no automation in PD that can delete activities related to deals that are Won or Lost

Yes, thank you, I figured that out. I was looking to see if anyone found it to be a concern and if they had any work arounds that would help keep our activities up to date.

@Sandra Beer I don't see a way with automation. There isn't even a way to update an activity after it is won, say change the name. You could however create a filter in your activities filters to only see those activities I think. Then you could easily batch delete them.

That could work! It would be faster than filtering in list view and going into each deal to delete activities individually (which has been my work around so far). Thanks!

I would need that too! Would be great if Pipedrive can implement that!

Hi @TT -
This is something that could be done via a third party tool, such as Zapier, but cannot be done with Workflow Automation. Otherwise, I agree with Boris’ suggestion above of using filters to batch delete activities if you don’t want to use a third party tool.
Feel free to check out this video on how to set up filters https://youtu.be/mRChbJ3Kzmc or this one on how to use a filter to make batch updates https://youtu.be/t2_9xbW7vk4
Please feel free to reach out if you would like additional support.

@TT This Make/Integromat blueprint deletes outstanding activities for lost deals.

Why do you use in your Scenario the Interator module?
Only this scenario will use many operations in Make due to the deal events.. its constantly monitoring all deal events...
