Reopen an already won deal and mark it as won again

Hi all,

How do you prevent reopening a deal that has already been won?

The possibility to reopen a deal from the last reporting period and mark it as won again allows to influence forecasts and evaluations.

Unfortunately, there is no way to restrict that by user rights.

Andri Annuka gave us a good tip to use automation to restrict won deals in visibility and make them only available to managers. This works, but then excludes normal users from the results.

Does anyone have an additional idea?

    Meanwhile I got another good tipp from Bernd Auer: Using Automization we now send an email to the deal owner as soon as he reopens a deal, asking to make a short note why this deal was reopened. 
    We think it would lead to the needed avareness...

    Hi @Matthias Willberg 

    There are unfortunately no ways to really prevent it from happening. @Bernd Auer and @Andri Annuka gave you good suggestions.

    So it's more about creating awareness it's happening and knowing why. And if it turns out it was an accident then no worries, you can always edit the "won time" back to the original dates.
