Looking for Inspiration
We have been working with Pipedrive and we like it a lot. But we are curious on how other business are making use of Pipedrive, therefore I would like to get in touch to get inspired...:-)

Hello @Salahdin,
The "sales process" is the natural way but a lot of processes can be managed in Pipedrive. I have seen:
- Non-profits using PD for fundraising.
- Companies using PD for installation processes (solar companies installing residential solar panels, pool companies installing pools, etc)
- Accounts payable/accounts receivable process.
- As a project management tool.
- Last year I even saw a professor using PD for a class management tool!
Greetings,
RL

Hi @Robert Luna
Thanks for your feedback! Let's connect, I'd love to hear more about it.

I'll try to keep it short:
We use Pipedrive to acquire new customers via Calling and Mailings. Both the actual Calls and Mails themselves happen within Pipedrive, but also the controlling and admin aswell.Currently, we use a conncection via "Zapier" to "PandaDoc" for our contracts with customers, but we hope to replace that with Pipdrives "SalesDocs" soon.
Since very recently (today basically) we use Pipedrive with a separate Pipeline for our onboarding process aswell.
We use multiple workflow automations for that and keep expanding our automation as the tools get more powerful and I learn more about them.Best

@Justus Lubahn Would love to hear more about this. When you refer to automation are you using it more for efficiency within Pipedrive for the sales team or are you using it in terms of marketing automation, like automating emails for marketing onboarding series or reengagement? I'm looking to talk with a Pipedrive user(s) who is using automation in Mailigen and would love to understand how you're set up and what data fields you find most helpful.
For @Salahdin , I'm a Digital Content Strategist for a telecommunications B2B company, so I'm coming at it from more of a personalization lens and how we can use the data to inform content and send it at the right time via email (in the midst of migrating from Mailchimp to Mailigen). I choose to be more hands-off in certain "deals pipeline stages" and let the sales guys do what they do best. But, then play a more hands-on role for those who want more indirect communications.

Thanks @Justus Lubahn and @Suzanne Van de Ven it would be great if we could organize some kind of 'learn from each other session' . Are you open for that?

@Salahdin Yes I'm up for that. I'd say I'm newer to the role so if you're good with that context, I'm happy to chat. Where are you located so I understand your timezone? I'm in the US (Central Timezone).

Sure, I'm up for that aswell. I'm kind of the only guy that out of interest went a bit deeper into Pipedrive, but am by no means an expert either. I'm learning new stuff or mistakes I'm making every other day...
I'm from Germany, so Timezone would be CET.
@Suzanne Van de Ven It's basically only for efficiency within Pipedrive and sending out contracts (via Zapier/Pandadoc) and now for some mails to customers and other departments of the company within the onboarding process of new customers. But no connection to actual mailing-tools like you described, I'm afraid.

Hey @Salahdin,
I love this idea. Happy to get together and share current layouts etc. Maybe a few of us from this chat can hop on to a Zoom together? What's the best way to schedule something like this? Anyone is welcome to self schedule on my calendar but, not sure the best way to get a time that works for everyone

I'm a bit busy the next couple of days. What about February 12th? I can do any of the times but 6pm CST. @Salahdin or @Justus Lubahn do any of those work for you? Just click on the link and let us know.

It's funny; after I posted this Calendly link, I went on a search on "How best to schedule group meetings" and there really isn't anything great available to do this. I found an app called Doodle but, it definitely seems like a tough problem to solve. Anyway, I've updated the link to only include the 12th and times that work for @Suzanne Van de Ven and I
Let me know if this this doesn't work and we can push to next week or a time that works for everyone. I know the timezones are tough as well so if it's easier, I'd be happy to do a late call and can add some times?
We're already solving problems haha.

@Jeremy Gulley I didn't get a calendar invite. I tried entering again just now to see if it possibly went to my junk, but the time is already taken for obvious reasons. Anyway you can send me the invite for today at 10:30 CST at s.vandeven@homewav.com?
