Assigning Contact to Deal

Hello -

We're currently using Calendly to create Deals within Pipedrive. We are also creating new Contact records when someone schedules a call. We're running into a couple issues and I have a few questions I'm hoping to get help with:

1. How do I assign the Contact to the Deal Created? Is that possible? Currently I'm doing so manually.

2. Every time someone re-schedules, this creates an entirely new deal. Any way to check for duplicates and remove them? Or update an existing Deal?
