Help identifying the date a deal entered each individual deal stage.

Hello all. We have been trying to build our own external reporting system. For it to work we require to find out the date each of our deals entered each stage in our sales pipeline. PD have suggested its not possible to extract the data despite the information being stored on each individual deal and also available as a summary graph on the insights feature. The idea of having to manually go through 6000 deals seems a little much haha. Has anyone had to do anything similar and have a solution? Basically we have around 6 deal stages and we need to find the dates that each deal entered those stages so we can calculate the duration between each etc.

    The data is indeed available in our databases but there's unfortunately no export functionality build into Pipedrive for this. However. in case you have someone technical on your team they can use our open API to pull this information from Pipedrive and feed it into another source.

    I have the same problem. Did Pipedrive already find a solution for this? Calculating the sales duration cycle per stage should be a key feature of a Sales customer relationship management tool..

    You could set this up using custom fields and Pipedrive automation.

    That is what we did. We created fields like "Date entered Ready to Invoice" and then used automations to populate the date that the deal entered the stage into that field.
