Workflows driven by overdue activities

Hello... I had discovered the possibility to create workflows based on activity due dates - unfortunately not so specific that the workflow is only triggered when an activity is really overdue. Are you planning an extension here? Overdue activities are exactly what we want to avoid and a reminder via Slack would of course be great....
