Päivämäärän muoto
Hei! Voiko päivämäärää muotoilla itse? Lähetämme asiakkaille sähköpostilla vahvistuksia, jotka sisältävät sovittuja päivämääriä. Nyt ne näyttävät hieman kummallisilta, esim. 13. touko 2020. Voiko tuota jostain muuttaa niin, että se olisi esim. 13. toukokuu 2020 tai 13.05.2020?

I know I can change it, but the problem is that the Finnish translation is wrong (may is not touko, it is toukokuu). And I want the Finnish version right or then just the number format 13.05.2020. Is this possible?
Passing this along to our localisation team so we can change it asap, will keep you posted, sorry about that!

Ok. I have discussed with support about this already in June last year, so let´s hope it will be fixed. Just a little thing, but in my language important. Thanks Mike.

Just a note that this affects all months, not just May. All of them are not grammatically correct. They are shortened versions which is ok in most cases, but not with officials etc.

@Jarno Wuorisalo thanks for that additional comment, our localisers are checking it out

Hey everyone,
This is Kerttu from Localization team!
Since it's a slightly more technical thing to resolve, I can assure that a task has been created to our developers and they are working on fixing this, hopefully during this month the fix will be deployed as well

Hi @Kaj Kusnetsov update from the tech team.
They did some digging and it turned out that it’s a short form of month used in the app, like an abbreviation..it’s used for all languages and if it would be changed to a long version like you mentioned up here, it would currently affect all languages. Therefore the decision was made to currently not change the behaviour and keep it in short form.
Here you see how August for example looks like in the English version:
