Hi, 

We want to test workflow automation mechanics before starting them - for example, move the deal to a different stage upon some action. 

Do I understand correctly that a minimum time interval between steps is 1 day. So we cannot test anything for 5 mins, i.e do action and see if the deal has moved to a new stage?

    You should be able to create the workflow automation and test it immediately by creating whatever trigger will cause the automation to start.
