Prospects lists for deals

We work from an excel spreadsheet when we are working on a deal. The spreadsheet has our prospect list. Is there a way on the contact or organization, to show them as a prospect on a particular deal? I thought about tags but was hoping there was a better way.

    Hi @Blair Bondar Are you working from a spreadsheet for a specific reason? Do you use the Leads inbox in Pipedrive? This may help with tracking prospects into Pipedrive from a contact into a Lead and then into a Deal. In terms of tagging the contact in the deal - you could allocate a custom field for this.

    Hi Edie and thankyou. Our prospects are not deals. They are parties that we are going to be contacting to buy companies that we have for sale.  We want to be able to have a listing of these prospects for each deal and to show on their contact pane that they were contacted on each deal we reach out to them on.
