Anybody using Mailgen?
We send a lot of email at our company. Is anyone currently using Mailgen? If so, can we chat?
We'd like to take Mailgen out for a test drive and want to get some first impressions.
Thanks!

Hi Bob, we are partners with Mailigen. Happy to answer some questions or do an intro to them but sure they offer a free trial.

Good morning
We had the privilege of speaking with senior staff at Mailigen but we have not yet begun using our free trial account. At that time, last month, the integration between Mailigen and Pipedrive did not support "Deals".
We understand however that the company has the resources to quickly ramp up the capabilities of the integration of the and there was speculation that many obviously necessary functions would be available in late April or May.
I, for one, am really looking forward to becoming a Mailigen customer.

@Bob Hazlett The best person to speak to would be our sales/success manager Gints. Will ask him to reach out.

First impressions are good. Good UI, easy to use, great support.
A great feature is the Sync Bot. By creating Filtered Lists within Pipedrive, you can easily segment your audience and sync those with Mailigen.
However, a show-stopper for me is that PD uses the contact name as a single field [fullname] (as opposed to 2 fields [firstname] & [lastname]). Therefore, when you sync contacts, Mailigen pulls the PD [fullname] and the [firstname] & [lastname] fields do not get populated. So there goes your capability of personalisation. Unless you to do it all manually after the synchronisation.
On a positive note, their support is fantastic and they have told me this issue will be rectified:
"We just had an update that integration will be finished in month or two time."
When this is fixed, it should be very powerful.
Best,
Will0 -
