Is there a workflow When Deal is created, if person exists, do x?

I want to fill in a particular custom field automatically only if the person doesn't already exist.

I don't think there is a way to do this - but just want to double check.

Thinking out loud but you can set up automation and check the Person Created field to trigger the actions.

I agree.
I could think otherwise, feeding the field only when there is a person, and in this case, creating an automation where when the person is created, it marks this field.

Businesses that are created without people will not have this field populated naturally.
