Quickbooks and Pipdrive

Hi, we have just connected our Quickbooks with our Pipedrive and all is working great except that the "balance" field is always returning "0".  Anyone have any experience of this that would be able to assist correct this?

    Does the deal have a value populated?

    If yes - that should not be happening

    Yes, each deal has a value eg an annual membership fee of £3,000 - but this may be payable monthly, quarterly or annually.  It's not pulling the balance from Quickbooks.  The field in Pipedrive is set at "text" and I think it should be set as "monetary" but it will not allow me change the field context
