Timezones for cold calling?

@Ralph Tommaso curious to see what the community will answer here, but do you mean that you know what timezone your customers are in? You could potentially store that info in a custom field.

My team struggles with this also. We have been unable to find a solution.
Pipedrive only seems to rely on the time zone, and does not accommodate the time zone the activity is scheduled in.

What I did was make 3 filters listing all est states, then central/mountain then Pacific then call thru them consecutively
I know other crm have timezone detecting based on phone number or address.
Was curious if Pipedrive had something like that in development

Okay so what you'd like to know when you have a phone number, is what timezone this person is in? I assume it's a lead you don't know yet and not a customer that you can ask where they are based?

Ideally we can add this as a filter "point" so that I can reference only leads where it is between 9am and 5pm in their local time zone, using it in a cold calling campaign

Gotcha, we can't do it automatically, I'll share your feedback. IMO Timezone should be a boilerplate field in Pipedrive, as it is so essential to the sales process.
