We sell private jets and I have a question...

If we have 100% of a jet to sell, and every time someone buys a portion of that jet, there’s less left available for someone else to purchase, how can we organize this?

Ex: The jet starts at 100% available, then if a customer buys a quarter share (25%), that means there’s only 75% left available of that that jet.

How can we organize in our Pipedrive deals pipeline to reflect that?

How are you storing the Jet details?

    As a deal? As a product? As a Contact/Org?

Hey @Phil Michaels  there's a chance where a Pipeline could be used here, however, its worth understanding if your customers always buy a set % of the jet. For example do you only sell the jet in 25% / 50% 75% or can someone buy 13% of the jet?

    Thank you.

    Hi Edie -- thanks for the reply. There's only 5 options: 100%, 50%, 25%, 12.5%, or 6.25%

Thanks for replying, Amit. Currently, we don't have the jet details stored, we only store the customers details. And, we store those as deals.

One customer deal might buy 50% of a jet, so we'd like to attach it to a customer deal if possible. Maybe the jet should be stored as a product that has a finite amount or as a org that people buy into.

The goal we are trying to achieve is to have an easy way to know how much of the jet is available to sell and who has which jet.

Ex: Bob owns 50% of Jet A, Tom owns 25% of Jet C, and Jim owns 50% of Jet B, etc.

Have to explore if this is doable with Google Sheets/Google Data Studio/Tableau + Coupler.
