Email Sync and Tracking

I am interested in ideas/solutions for two concerns. First, I understand the low success rate of cold emails, but I have emailed multiple individuals within the same company with none showing have opened our message. I am sending out to multiple levels so it isn't just Clevel ignoring our email. I'm concerned that we are being routed to spam.

Secondly, I've synced my email which means every email item and calendar item is flowing through my view of Pipedrive. Is it possible to filter emails or even reporting to just email sent within Pipedrive? Or should I just not bother with synching? 

I love the tracking feature but need some ideas on how to better utilize and de-clutter results.
