Use "Bulk Edit" to Create Activities Against Organisations or Contacts
I would love to have the ability to select multiple Organisations or Contacts & then use Bulk Editing to create an Activity again each of those selected items. Can this be done? Are there any plans to enable this?

You can do this using a custom field at the contact/organization level. Set up an automation to watch for this field, and then create activities when this field is changed to a certain value.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out.

Also, might not be exactly pertinent to your question but adjacent, you can bulk edit Activities after you create them to add things like Organization (or even Deal! which is a great way to connect multiple People to a Deal)
So if you have 100 Activities and you want to connect them all to an Organization its only one Bulk Edit away

Hi Wellington,
I just spoke about the with Pipedrive this week. I am managing everything through Contacts section and Activities. The best way for me to bulk Create activities is on the Activity creation tab, down towards bottom where people are assigned, you can add multiple People to that one creation activity.
I'd bet a bulk edit option is in the Pipedrive development pipeline.0 -

Wrote about a workaround in a short article.

@sardamit we need to pay for this article?!?!? We already pay for Pipedrive

@Jami Erickson Sorry. You paying for Pipedrive has got nothing to do with me providing a solution that would save a lot of time for anybody looking to save time.

oh I see, thank you for explaining :)

Okay, I've followed the instructions yet there still is no activity assigned to the 88 deals I bulk edited. I'm thinking I'll just have to go into each one separately :(

Hi @Jami Erickson,
Please send me screenshots of your automation setup at hello@amitsarda.xyz.
You could also send me a loom recording walking me through the setup and I can help find the issue.
Best,
Amit
