I'm sure that many of you attended Pipedrive Marketplace webinar this Tuesday with Jennifer and Vince, so thank you. It was super fun and exciting event. For those who missed it, here's the link for on-demand recording.

    @Nuno Correia -  Can an appointment reminder be sent automatically to reduce cancellation ? I meant one day before reminder.

    Great question. Currently through Pipedrive features we do not have an appointment reminder. But if you do have your calendar synced, then as when the meeting is scheduled at a particular time, your own or the attendees calendar system would notify you or them. This is a good point though and something that we are actively monitoring, to learn how we can remind people so they don’t miss out on their meeting invites. So all in all, at the moment the reminders have to be set up from the users (meeting invitee's) end from their own calendar settings.

    @Marta Bisart - The client receives the confirmation of the scheduled meeting, but it is automatically added to the client calendar? (We are using gmail and google calendars)

    When you have calendar-sync enabled, then Pipedrive along with your calendar provider will send out invites to the client. These will appear on the external calendar of the attendee. You can set separate calendars especially for Pipedrive or you can sync your main calendar as well. This will send the invite to the client. The client gets an email with an invitation to the event and the meeting will also be visible in their calendar.

    @Tatiana Maia - Can links for multiple platforms be added to the same invite (e.g. Zoom/Google Meets)?

    Again, a good question. We haven’t put in any limits, but when you create multiple links, the description of the Activity or the event, when it’s synced to your external calendar, the description will have multiple links. But the link that you have inside Pipedrive, when you access it through the calendar view or the deal detail view, there's a button that says “join your call meet”, that would show only the latest. This whole integration is designed to support only one video integration, so please keep that in mind. We would say you can do that and have these links in the description, but that is more like a workaround, not the ideal way.

    @Marta Bisart - If we share the same slots link to different clients, and one of them picks a slot, will that slot disappear for the other clients?

    That is absolutely right. Whenever a meeting slot has been booked by someone else, that slot is removed from what other plans would see. That’s one of the reasons we decided to build a Scheduler, to prevent double-bookings. And if you have your calendar sync enabled as well, if you have a meeting that was scheduled, that would block out your calendar and Scheduler would notice that you’re not having available slot during that time. And it does update in real time, so you can use this and not worry about double-booking.

    Carmen - Is it possible to include more than one person from your organization in the invitation? Thank you

    When you’re sending out Activity invites, so you’re creating an activity and you’re adding multiple people as guests, that would definitely be possible. When you send it out from Pipedrive, all those guests in that Activity would receive the link to the video call meeting. So it is possible to do that by Activity guests, but via Scheduler we had initially built it keeping in mind 1:1 meetings and having bookings or multiple people scheduling a slot, we have not considered that yet. It’s something that we’re monitoring and we’re hoping for feedback from our customers. So if you want to include more people from an organization in an invite, then I would suggest picking a slot, creating an Activity, adding those people from those organizations as guests and they’ll receive an invite. When you’re scheduling that from an Activity it defaults to anyone who's linked to the deal, so that person or organization will automatically pop in and you can add anyone else in. And this option can even be used for internal team meetings, so it doesn’t have to be sent out externally.

    Alvaro -  Is the Scheduler translated into Spanish for the invitee?

    We do have Spanish available and many many other languages. Attendees can change the language from the “language settings” in the Scheduler link itself. By default the language is chosen by detecting the attendee's browser language setting, so in case it is in Estonian for example, then it will automatically translate that Scheduler link. Only the “Description” wouldn’t be translated, as it is filled by the Pipedrive users who sent the invite. Additional note here is that the time zone is also based on the user/attendee browser location, who opens the Scheduler link. 
    The person who manages their Scheduler links to invite clients to meetings, can go to their personal preferences in settings in Pipedrive and change languages and set up Scheduler links for different languages. That way it would be easier to add those links, according to language, to invitations and emails.

    Minhaj - Is this coming under a paid package? Cuz zoom has a 40 minute limit on the free version. If I integrate with Pipedrive how much do I have to pay extra, please?

    That’s a really good question. The demonstration that we had on the webinar was done by demo accounts that Vince created himself. And also you can use your free Zoom link, which has that 40 minute limit. The only throw-back is that when you’re on that video call with your client, you would be asked to end the call after 40 minutes. That is something that’s out of our control. But you can integrate your free Zoom account with Pipedrive. In that sense there’s no limitations.

    We already went over that, when we talked about scheduling from Activities view versus creating a Scheduler link, that’s then sent out. Vince did cover that part in the demo, so if you need to remind yourself how it works, you can watch the webinar recording on-demand.

    Steven - Can you manage timezones when setting the call time from Pipedrive? Or does it default to your current time zone?

    When you’re scheduling something from Pipedrive, it is based on your own time zone setting. There’s a time zone setting in your personal preferences in your Pipedrive account, it takes your personal timezone based on your computer. Currently there’s no way to link a specific time zone to a contact and see if that works for them, that is not possible. However, like we mentioned earlier about the Scheduler, the calendar slots would be set according to the viewer's browser timezone.

    Alvaro - Do you have some integration of PipeDrive's Scheduler with LinkedIn?

    At the moment we don’t. It is something that we have explored in the past but we did encounter some issues with Linkedin. We know that Linkedin is the biggest community for professionals, so whenever there is a possibility of an integration with LinkedIn, we'll follow through. At the moment, there are no plans.

    Daniel - Is their a way to prevent Pipedrive email invites from entering the spam inbox of recipients?

    That's a really good question and definitely legitimate concern with the email invite. So if you have your calendar-sync enabled, then all the invites are sent by your email provider (ie. Google or Microsoft). This would reduce the possibility of spam emails. From our experience, ever since this feature has been live for more than 2 years, and we've not seen a customer having this issue. But in the off-chance that you do, we suggest connecting your calendar, and letting your email provider to send out these email invites.

    @Robert Elms - How do I send a group email (including for example a link to a video intro I've made) to all participants of a deal? I can't work out how to filter out only people that are 'deal participants' of a certain deal. Thanks...

    Unfortunately there is no way to create a filter with only the deal participants of a certain deal. We have captured your feedback and shared it with the relevant team.

    Daniel - Often times these invites go directly to spam. Is there a way to prevent this?

    The way to prevent it is by enabling calendar-sync and by doing this, your calendar provider will be sending out the activity invite email notifications to guests as well as the meeting confirmations after a meeting scheduler slot is booked.

    Unfortunately there is no way to create a filter with only the deal participants of a certain deal. We have captured your feedback and shared it with the relevant team.

    Thanks. I've had that confirmed by our inhouse technical person. We have implemented a workaround using labels...
