Send an email when a new lead created
Hi. The pretty easy task turns into spending hours. I want to inform myself each time lead is created. I am using Automation Workflow, "Lead Created" trigger, and "Action - Send email using template". I have created a new Template and wanna use it. But there are two required fields that I don't need. Anyway, even though I don't need them I can't select anything in a third one
As an alternative, I can use instead "Action - Send email using template" just an "Action - Send email". But in this case, I don't have the possibility to pick the necessary custom fields Person-related. In the next example, the "date_of_birth" is a custom field created by me.

Yes, I can. In the previous step, I am selecting any of those.
In the next step, I have two fields to start. Which is great
But after selecting a previously created Email Template two more fields appear.

Hi @Iaroslav please can i check, when you select the fields to populate - are you choosing Deal as well as Lead?
If you have chosen Deal - it will assume you have a Deal in which needs to be emailed, deselect this field if you dont have any Deals to be emailed

Hi @Eirik Larsen and @Iaroslav I wanted to ask in any of the email templates you are choosing to send via automation - do they contain data fields which pull data from a Deal and not a Lead?
