Identifying current customers for newsletter?

How do you identify people in your database who are customers? For example, this would be to send email messages using Campaigns to only current customers. Do you use a custom field? Is there some built-in way to do this in Pipedrive?

    A person label is the most common way to identify customers. You can use a custom field too, in some cases it's more convenient.

    If you have an Excel list of all your customers, you can also import the customer label to each person in bulk, so you don't need to edit people in Pipedrive one by one. If you need help with this, you can contact me!
