Lead label same as contact label - Vlookup?

Hi there,

I'm using 'leads' as a way to list when new or existing contacts show interest in a product. However, I need to make the 'lead label' reflect the same as the linked 'contact label'.

I use the labels to show whether the contact is an existing customer. This way, if the customer becomes a lead, the lead label will let us know straight away that they're an existing client. Then the the lead can be prioritised and their account manager will be the person who follows up.

I guess what I really need is a VLOOKUP function, so that I can use automation to specify a field based on the value of another field.....

Thanks so much!

    Hi Emily!

My first idea would have been that this is doable with the Workflow Automation, but it seems that's not the case.

Something that maybe could fix the issue is, that you can edit the "list view" columns in Leads. There is an option for organization label, that you can choose, which will display the client label in your Leads view.
