What:
With our new Messaging inbox integrations you’ll be able to:

  • contact prospective leads or clients, and track your conversations without leaving Pipedrive;
  • intuitively create contacts, leads, or deals from conversations and store your conversation history in the related contact, lead or deal;
  • share conversations with colleagues and even assign them to the ideal team member for follow-up.


When: 
Starting today, for all companies in all plans.

How to start:

Connect our Facebook Messenger and Business WhatsApp integration apps or add the apps directly within Pipedrive (Leads > Messaging inbox).

    Hey @Brad Lynch , we know how valuable this use case can be. But currently, unfortunately, this is not possible due to Facebook/Meta API's limitations.

    I'm currently actively using a white label version of High Level - working on converting BACK to PD. But the it's the same way there - you can't initiate a conversation via FB, but once the lead starts the conversation via FB you can respond through HL. I'm guessing PD will be similar. 

    I've had at times where I couldn't respond through HL and had to go back through FB - another quirk I've seen is that sometimes FB doesn't recognize that there's been a response and will remind you there's an unanswered message, even though we DID respond, just not directly through FB.

    Maybe as there are more 3rd party systems doing this, FB will play nicer...

    Already now there's been an integration of sorts between LinkedIn automation tool Dux-Soup and Pipedrive, which creates a messaging log in Pipedrive.

    That extended functionality would likely require help from LinkedIn, and in their world Salesforce and MS Dynamics are likely first in line for that sort of functionality.

    I know - that's mostly assumptions-based, but would seems logical to me...

    Hey @Petr Soukenik, we have researched this option as well, but for now LinkedIn Messaging API is restricted for the public usage. If the situation changes, we will consider this integration for our next plans.

    Forget LinkedIn messaging, I would be happy with just LinkedIn Sales Navigator integration. When is that long overdue feature coming?

    I tried the integreation with Facebook Messenger, seams working.

    Integration with Business WhatsApp is very complicated, I didn't succed because the setup in twilio.com is complicate and confusing and was at least not possible. What a mess ...

    I would like some help, if possible.

    I want to connect Whatsapp to PipeDrive, but I have one difficulty.

    We work with customers that have more than one deal. It means that one person can discuss several deals with us. I want my team to use a whatsapp tool that can manage all the talks to the correct deal, but so far, I did not find the correct tool. All Apps I have seen do not have the possibility of having the integration with PD for different deals.

    Anyone have any suggestion?
