Profile picture already there when filling a new contact

Sometimes, when creating a new person contact, after filling the fields but before signing any picture, a photo already shows up in my contact!. And no one in all my organisation has that contact (is a new one). 

 

It has happened to me about 10-12 times.

Any ideas why?

    Do you have Smart Contacts Data enabled?

    Hi Cesar! 

    This can happen if you have Contact sync enabled and this newly added Contact person has set up their profile picture in Contact provider (Google for example). So the Contact Sync identifies this profile based on the email address.
