Report for (early) deals vs deals (certain stage)

I am working with ADVANCED license and I have not found a way to make a report to show for a period of time:

How many deals has been created in a month and how many of those have been progressing to a certain step in the pipeline.

Anyone with suggestions?

    One of the Conversion/Funnel charts with a filter for the Deal Created field will give you what you're looking for.
