Entering Deals and Adding Products

When entering a deal and you add products, why doesn't your cursor automatically go to the line when you click on Add Products instead of you having to click on the new line? There are too many times I click on Add New Products and think it goes there and when I start typing, it thinks it's short-cut keys and knocks me out of the deal and I have to start all over again. 
Sounds silly, but I get knocked out a lot and have to put everything back in again. Most times when you click on Add (in other software), it takes you right to the line for you to start typing. Thank you for listening and hoping others would agree with me.
