Automating Double Opt-In

Hi all
Is there a way within Pipedrive to Automate Double-Opt in Emails to be sent when a new Person and Lead comes in? I'd have this under a particular tag as it would only really be those who have opted in for marketing based on our lead gen forms on Website, Facebook/ Google/ Linkedin forms.
As I understand it now, I would have to manually select all 20,000 of my contacts in Pipedrive opening each one and clicking the "Send Double Opt-in" button which is obviously just a little counter-productive for time! I contacted PD support about this and was told it's a limitation with the system. For all the automation that Pipedrive enables I was surprised by this!
Would love to hear if there's a work around to be able to do this. I'm looking to increase our email send rating, to avoid spam filters where I can. Cheers.

Hi @SNAusPac thank you for the feedback! This is not possible at the moment, and so it's a feature request. I have. moved it to the feedback category, and forwarded it to our product team for consideration.

Yes, please make this a feature. Ideally, a prospect fills out a form or completes a chatbot sequence to subscribe to an email, a double opt-in email is sent, and we're done. Not having this feature is a massive waste of time.

Users receiving double opt-in minutes after signing up on our website seems like a standard feature to any e-mail marketing software.2 -
Yeah, please make this a feature. Pipedrive is constantly scanning for compliancec and then has automatic unsubscribes in the system, and going in to manually double-opt in feels like a huge waste of time when we pay extra with all the automations.

I agree, it is important that this activity is automated: a client of mine has about 50 new leads (+ people) coming in every day and it becomes unthinkable to do it manually.

it could simply be an automation that the user creates if they wish to:
"IF marketing status changes to Subscribed
THEN send double opt-in email"
I know users like us more often than not underestimate the complexity related to adding features…but the technical framework for this implementation seems to be there already!
It'd be great if someone from Pipedrive would explain why this hadn't been considered by PMs before releasing Campaigns…Did somebody forgot to add this to a sprint and now God knows when it'll be prioritised ? It's likely much quicker for us to consider opening a Mailchimp account, that for sure…0
