Pop-up Window asking to save

Could you please integrate a function which automatically pop-up a window asking if you want to close a e.g. task or any object viewed and made changes to. If you e.g. open an Activity, make change to the activity and click the X icon on top left of the window, it closes the activity without saving any changes. Since I have made changes, the system should ask if I really want to close the windows without saving.
Yes, you can click on Save, but that is a two step operation. First you have to click in Save and then close the window. It would be nice if you only closed the window and then was asked to save, if there had been any changes.
