What's the best way to link contacts and organizations in a mass import?
Importing about 3000 people using an excel sheet. At the moment it's looking like I'm going to have to import organizations and contacts separately and then link them manually one-by-one. Any ideas on what could make this easier?

Have separate columns for Org, Contact, Deal, Activities in the same row.

@Brenna Depends on the current data in the CRM, and the new data you're importing. There are some settings that you could use, and there is always Dedupely.

I ran into this issue as well when importing contacts, and was able to solve it by having Organization Name, and Organization Address in the import that matched Organization Name, and Organization Address in Pipedrive.
According to the article below, when looking for duplicates Pipedrive checks both Organization Name, and Organization Address:

I have always found Dedupely to be a better solution to deal with duplicates. I think the founders also offer support to set it up.
