Early release š Deals + Products data available for Export š¦
Hi, Iām a PM at Pipedrive working on the Products feature,
On Wednesday 2 Aug we will start releasing new functionality to export data on the products added to deals, so you can pass this information on for more detailed reporting, delivery or fulfilment.
What will you get with this release?
From the Export Data feature, you will now be able to select to export the entire product catalogue, OR only products added to deals.
If only products added to deals is selected, the export file will include:
- Deal Product fields: Deal product ID, Quantity, Comments, Currency, Discount, Discount type, Duration, Duration unit, Item Price, Amount, Tax, Tax method
- Deal fields: Deal ID, Deal Title, Deal Status
- Product fields: Product Name, Product Code, Product Category, Product Description, Product Variation Name and any Product custom fields.
Where: The new functionality is in the global Export data feature, which is found via the three dots in the main navigation.
Availability: General availability on all plans from 21 Aug. Early release to beta customers starting Wednesday 2 Aug.

Is this able to be get by API?

The export function for products works well but it would be great to be able to filter for current or time based deals instead of the entire database. It would also be great to be able to include the deal owner detail in the export. Then you are creating a valuable report.
