Product relation on recurring revenue definition in deals

Hi,

when adding a recurring revenue within a deal, it would be really helpful to be able to select a product and not just type every time a description.


We sell services with recurring revenue. We store prices for the fee on the product master. We maintain the recurring revenue on the deal.

    Hi @Susanne !

    We currently are in closed beta for adding recurring products to a given deal so that it is possible to add subscription and one-time products and automatically compute revenue metrics (ARR, TCV, ARR, and ACV). You will be able to do so in the "Add products to deal" modal.

    Soon after we are going to open the beta. However, in this first stage, it won't connect to Insights to build necessary reports, only after.

    Hi @AC3000 and @Susanne,

    Currently, recurring products have been released where it is possible to configure and use products as Subscriptions with different billing frequencies. Also, we have added most relevant revenue metrics to the deals with products: ACV (Annual Contract Value), MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue) and ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue).

    More recently, we have enhanced Insights with a new report for measuring Products Performance and subscription data. Here deal reports have now product related fields as well.

    Next, it is the holistic revenue reporting that allows you to track revenue throughout time for recurring and one-time products. This will take into account billing start dates, billing frequency, cycles and amounts.

    For its general availability, it would be for Q4. If you want to participate in the early release we can include you there as well.
