Deals, Activities & Future Calendar Meetings?

Hi all, I've got a question on how best to track next steps in Pipedrive. TL:DR: if I've got a future meeting already on my google calendar with a contact linked to a deal, how can that be noted/linked?

Detail:

I've got a deal. The deal has one contact. The email for the contact is properly defined.

I've got a meeting in Google Calendar with this contact planned in a week from now.

The "Deal" view in Pipedrive has a ⚠️ symbol next to this deal. But in reality, I've already got a next step / scheduled activity with this deal.

How best to reconcile this, so my team knows what the next step is, and when?

    Hi @pete-uk was this activity created from inside Pipedrive? If so, the activity is linked to the contact person for the deal but not the deal itself. This is something you’re allowed to do if you need to book an activity with a person that is not related to any individual deal.

    Just go into the activity and link the deal directly to change this. Also, if you create an activity inside a deal, it will be linked to that deal by default.

    No, this was created outside of Pipedrive. Thanks for the response though!
