Use SmartDocs & build templates without cloud storage access

SmartDocs should have a settings option to not store documents in cloud storage and storing templates/documents in Pipedrive. At a minimum being able to create templates for the company directly within Pipedrive.
As an implementation partner, clients commonly request proposal, contract, quote templates as part of a project/setup. Because I do not have access to their SharePoint and they would either need to add me as a SharePoint user or share personal credentials with me, I can not do for them using SmartDocs. For the reason I commonly point them to other third-party proposal / e-signature integration (Oneflow, PandaDocs, etc).
Directly uploading a PDF template does not work, because data field's can not be added to the template for autofill.
