SmartDocs Monthly Quote totals of the products in a deal
Is there a way to generate a quote with the monthly totals of the products in a deal? Currently, I have products added with a frequency of monthly and billing length of 12 cycles. Our customers typically want to see the monthly cost as the quote (we sell a service rather than a product). I looked through all of the prefill options for smart docs and I know I can show the monthly cost, but I want to show the monthly totals.

With the Product fields in Smart Docs, the option to customise is limited beyond what is offered. In your specific case, would it be useful to have the
product subtotals_recurringfield added to show the monthly breakdown?Alternatively, you can create a deal-type custom field to manually store the monthly value of each deal and then use this deal custom field in the document

The
product subtotals_recurringis a start and I did look into it, but we want to have the subtotal including tax, total tax, and total as monthly values since we are going to bill that amount per month. So, the customer knows what to expect on billing, but an annualized version is not helpful for them on the operational or budgetary side. We also try to show the tax per line item, but we calculate that manually and add it to the document.A custom field is a decent idea, but that is more complicated that just manually adding the monthly values to the doc itself. Would love to see more options for the totals, but I understand the complexity of showing monthly values when there are one time, quarterly, or semi-annual products added to the deal products.
