Creating a doc template - best practices for custom form fields to be filled out before each job?

We have been using Adobe Sign to get signatures on contracts before starting work on new jobs. I recently learned about the integrated SmartDocs and I'd much prefer the direct integration with Pipedrive. I'm converting our existing contract templates into a template to use directly within SmartDocs. Previously, we had PDFs contracts that were set up as a form, so we could put the customer name and such in uniquely on every contract to be signed. Obviously, much of that can now be done dynamically using Pipedrive fields.
However, there are some elements that we include in our contracts that we do NOT have recorded anywhere in Pipedrive, like specific equipment being used or specifics around the labor involved with the job. What's the best way to include these types of details in the template? For instance, we're a solar installer, so one field would be system size. I'm sure we could create a field in Pipedrive for system size, but if we weren't to do that (or for additional details we want to include) what's the best way to leave a space on the template for manually filling out when sending the contract to a new customer?

Hi @Josh H
the best way to handle dynamic content is either to use products (if those things are priced) or a special lont text field that has all that info in it.
If the data is well normalized like that system size, then yes - make a group of fields on a deal to store those, then map them in the smartdoc.
