Sync or export leads to e.g. Mailchimp

Hi, I like the new leads feature a lot. However, I am missing a feature that's essential for us: We sync/export our pipedrive with our E-Mail marketing tool mailchimp, using the native pipdedrive - mailchimp integration (export). 

While this works seemlessly with Deals, I unfortunately didn't find any option to also export leads. This would be essential for us as we work with email marketing already in early stages of the acquisition process. 

My question is: Did I overlook something? Is there any option how to export leads? I would already be happy with a simple .csx or .xls export of the leads which I can than manually upload to mailchimp.

Hi @Philipp Petruschke , great to hear you're enjoying the Leads feature and already looking to make the most of it! 🚀

You didn't overlook anything: right now it's not possible to export data from Leads (yet). Leads are still in beta, so we're constantly working to add new possibilities to it and exporting will come too, stay tuned. Just this week we introduced the possibility to do bulk actions and edit contacts in Leads, so you can see it's getting more and more similar to what you can do in the List View in other parts of Pipedrive.  😉

That being said, we appreciate your feedback and I've made sure your suggestions reach our team.

I'm afraid not at the moment @Philipp Petruschke , but we always make sure to announce these types of feature updates here, so stay tuned and you won't miss out.

I had the exact same question! So for now, the workaround solution would be to export Leads into Excel and upload into Mailchimp?

Hi, no, at the moment there's unfortunately no workaround because you cannot export leads to excel either. You can't export them at all.

@Denise M Pummer and @Philipp Petruschke we're working on updates to the leads section. We just release the API endpoints for it: https://community.pipedrive.com/post/introducing-new-leads-api-endpoints-5f199c8e3bbc39161ed9d5db

This means that integration partners can now start using this in their integrations as well and you can use this to extract leads our of Pipedrive. However, exporting and Mailchimp work is something that's in the backlog of plans right now.

Just want to highlight @Philipp Petruschke that it's not actively being worked on but in the backlog. So it needs to be prioritised and this could take a while unfortunately. However, once Zapier enables it and anyways with API available you could start using it via that already
