BETA TESTING CLOSED - full release to Professional & Enterprise plans expected by end of September
Hey everyone!
We've been making some big improvements in the Smart Docs feature, making it easier to share your ideal documents.
So, what’s new?
- You no longer need a Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive/SharePoint connection to use Smart Docs. Simply upload a PDF from your device and use it to request eSignatures and share with a tracking link!
- Already connected with Google or Microsoft? Great! Upload a PDF from your cloud storage and use it to request eSignatures and share with your clients with a tracking link!
- If you’re a Google Drive user - Smart Docs now works with Google Sheets and Google Slides! Choose your preferred file type to create templates and documents for all of your quotes, proposals, and contracts!
Right now we're looking for keen beta testers to try out the new functionality and provide us with feedback. Please leave a comment in this post to be included IF you have a Pipedrive Professional or Enterprise plan.

Just had a run at it, super cool. Some comments or remarks that might be useful are below.- Great Idea on the authentication after signature, might be useful to put other authentication methods like Authy or Google Auth.
- For the signature, might be useful to add some font options + an option of an actual e-signature board like adobe + and maybe upload your signature and drag it.
- I don't know if the email template sent to the client can be editable, but that would also be interesting maybe through an integration with your BETA service Campaign.

Hi Natahsa,
The Sheets and Slides work great, my only feedback is that especially when using Sheets it would be really useful to have the various product fields available separately rather than just in the table so I can incorporate in my own formulas.

We don't currently have Google Forms on our shorter term roadmap. I've added your feedback to our backlog for future exploration.
Could you tell me more about how you intend to use a Google Forms integration in Smart Docs? Is it mainly to collect information from your clients?

Hey @Natasha Kupusovic are there any plans to add this same ability to Smart Docs when connected to SharePoint? Currently only Word docs are possible when Pipedrive is connected to SharePoint, which was super disappointing for me — as our organisation must continue to use SharePoint (cannot switch to Google Drive for myriad reasons) and we create a LOT of spreadsheets (we're an accounting firm). The presentations and PDF output types would be great too! Thanks in advance for your help! ~MC
